Membership Terms & Conditions
Global Guild of Commerce (GGC)
1. Membership Approval
All memberships are subject to formal verification of business credentials and sectoral alignment. The Global Guild of Commerce (GGC) reserves the right to approve or decline any application based on organizational standards and strategic objectives.
2. Membership Validity
Membership is valid for a period of one year from the date of approval. Renewal is subject to a review of the member's engagement levels, adherence to the code of conduct, and fulfillment of financial contributions.
3. Membership Contribution
Members are required to contribute an annual fee as determined by the GGC Governing Council. These contributions are directed toward the administrative, operational, and event-related costs of maintaining a premium business forum. Fees are non-refundable once an application is approved.
4. Membership Eligibility
Eligibility is restricted to business owners, directors, and C-suite executives with a proven track record in their respective industries. GGC maintains a strictly professional environment and does not permit representation of pyramid schemes or non-verified commercial entities.
5. Membership Selection Process
Prospective members must complete the GGC Membership Application Form. Applications are reviewed by the Membership Scrutiny Committee based on credibility, business experience, and sector-specific requirements. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interaction with Chapter Leaders and the Membership Scrutiny Committee, which is standard procedure. The final approval for membership rests solely with the Corporate GGC Council.
6. Mandatory Participation & Chapter Engagement
GGC is an active business forum, not a passive directory. To ensure maximum value for all members, participation in Chapter Meetings and GGC events is mandatory. Active participation in discussions, networking sessions, and collaborative initiatives is expected to maintain the forum's professional standards.
7. Attendance Obligation
Every member is required to maintain a high level of attendance at scheduled Chapter Meetings. Consistent participation is critical for building trust and the commerce-driven atmosphere GGC promotes. Absence from physical meetings (More than 3 Times in 6 Months) without valid intimation leads to cancellation of membership (no -refund of membership fee) as it impacts the synergy of the Chapter.
8. Intimation of Genuine Reasons
If a member is unable to attend a meeting due to health issues, bereavement, essential travel, or unavoidable professional commitments, they must intimate the same to the Chapter Director or Secretary at least 24 hours in advance. Timely intimation helps in meeting planning and professional courtesy.
9. Consequence of Repeated Absence
If a member exceeds the maximum allowed absences (recorded or unrecorded), the Membership Committee reserves the right to terminate their membership. In such instances, the seat will be declared vacant, and the contribution fee will be forfeited as per GGC policy.
10. Right to Appeal Against Removal
A member who has been removed due to attendance issues has the right to file a written appeal to the GGC Zonal/Central Board within 7 days of the removal notice. The decision of the Zonal/Central Board after reviewing the reasons and consistency of past engagement shall be final and binding.
11. Code of Professional Conduct
The core values of the Global Guild of Commerce (GGC) are Integrity, Respect, and Accountability. Every Member is required to Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions within the GGC ecosystem. GGC is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and professional environment for all members, with a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior.
